What a cool month of May for riding.
Even I did not do any racing and focused on training only it was an amazingly cool experience. Did spend some time in Florida at my home areas followed by training rides in Pflugerville and Austin Texas . From there I did support the ride from Texas to Kensas (supporting Adam Ashwill) and spend some time around RAAM TS30 and drove back to Texas. What an enjoyable time. 💪😜💪. From Texas I did continue to Breckenridge Colorado. What an amazing area but a tough challenge for a Floridian to go from hot temperatures (over 100 F / over 38 C) to even freezing with some snow falls. Still the scenery in Colorado was worth it. After 8 days in Colorado I continued to California staying near Borrego Springs CA for final training week. Enjoyed the different challanges due to altitude and temperature changes. The time training with my coach Giovanni Prosperi in Colorado was amazing and I think I learned a lot. However being in California I am even more happy being back together with my crew chief Heidi Maldonado. Feeling much more safe on my training rides with crew protection even the rides are not excessively hard any more since the big race is getting very close. The big race is almost around the corner. I believe my training was better in 2024 than 2023 and hopefully it will show in a decent resuat the big race starting 11th of June. The last days have some cool things scheduled and sure tapering will start shortly.
